dress that is dramatic and subtle in all the right ways. In heirloom eco silk.

  • The Jane dress is dramatic and subtle in just the right ways. You'll love the exquisitely textured and oh-so light raw silk and how this dress hugs in all the right places for a flattering and comfortable fit. Jane has clean and elegant lines thanks to a timeless sweetheart bodice accented with vintage-inspired floral laceand a gently flared slim A-Line skirt that can't wait to be danced in. The finishing touch? Delicate straps and a low dipping back with covered buttons beautifully showcase a feminine back.

This dress is fully lined and the bodice is constructed with boning, cups, and interfacing for excellent support. Invisible Zipper at back.

Handmade. Fair Trade. Eco. Ethical. This dress is handmade by Sinoun at a Fair Trade women's sewing group in Cambodia. Sinoun works in safe and empowering conditions and earns a fair wage so she can take her kids to the doctor and save for her daughter's education. This dress features our hand-woven heirloom eco silk that preserves a traditional art form. Celia Grace makes a one-for-one donation of a school uniform to a needy child in Cambodia for each dress sold.

This dress is named in honor of an inspiring woman, Jane Goodall, an English primatologist, and UN Messenger of Peace.

  • What is a Home Try-On? It's when we mail you sample dress(es) to try on in the comfort of your home. Your timeline. No pressure. Try on dress(es) over a weekend and then mail them back with the return label we provide.

What does it cost? The try on is free but US shipping costs $29 for the first style and $20 for each additional style--then we take this amount off your dress purchase.

Where do I choose my size & try on dates? Choose your dress size and 1-3 weekends that would work best for you at checkout. We don't have every size in stock for try ons so we'll help choose the best size and we'll send clothing clips to fit the dress (just like at a bridal shop!).

When should purchase my dress? The sooner, the better! It takes 4 months to make and send a wedding dress. Leave another 4-12 weeks for alterations and peace of mind.

Rush orders are available, two months for $200.

Shipping: We ship from Massachusetts, USA using USPS or FedEx for domestic shipments ($29 for a dress). For international shipments we usually use DHL Express. Please inquire for international shipping times and costs.

Refunds & Exchanges: We are unable to accept refunds & exchanges on new dresses.
